Tena is president of Financial and Estate Planning Services with over thirty years of experience, a licensed Investment Advisory Representative.
In her practice Tena focuses on the unique needs of retirees, including financial management for caregivers, long term care options and social issues facing the family, as well as retirement and estate planning, tax planning and investment portfolio management.
Her wide range of services enable individuals and families to plan for the future by preserving and growing their financial assets while maintaining their standard of living - regardless of life’s challenges.
From our experience, there are few financial advisors who have an insight into the financials of caregiving like Tena Burrell, who has been caregiving her own family members since the age of 19.
Tena is extremely active in the senior care community of D/FW. As part of her volunteer work with the Area Agency on Aging, Tena facilitates Elder Family Caregiver Education workshops at senior centers, churches and other facilities around town.
Tena is a volunteer board member of the Grapevine Senior Advisory Council, member of the HEB and Grapevine Chambers of Commerce, and works closely with many assisted living, memory care and long term care facilities in the Metroplex.
Tena earned her degree at Wichita State University, and has continued her financial education with The American College of Financial Services.
